Sky Jump

Welcome to the page for our GAD180 (SAE 20T2) Brief submission: Sky Jump.

Sky Jump is a 3D, exploratory platforming game level that focuses on the push and pull parkour mechanics, rocket jumping and grappling analogues respectively, to help you travel through a series of floating islands. It is a game inspired by A Story About My Uncle.

The goal is to use these mechanics to travel from one floating island to another. Along the way, players may encounter several tombstones which will reveal the lore of the land.

Controls:

W A S D to move

Mouse movement to control the camera view

Hold Right mouse click to 'pull'

Tap Left mouse click to 'push'

Space bar to jump

F to interact with tombstones

For the purposes of the playtesting goal for Week Six, we would like to test out and receive feedback regarding the parkour elements and mechanics of our game (through the PlaytestPrototype.zip - no longer available).
